Couch to 5k in Progress
There is still time to get ready for the BE5K3.1 February 10th
Couch to BE5K3.1 - Danny Haralson has modified the highly successful Couch to 5K program to the target the BE5K3.1 on Saturday, February 10, This program is designed to take those from the couch to completing a 5k (3.1 miles) in 7 weeks.
The Couch to 5K program cost is only $15 (checks made to Birmingham Events) plus the race entry fee, which goes 100% directly to Kid One Transport. This program is not about speed. Well cover the distance first at your own pace.This program offers weekly group runs, weekly motivational e-mails, individualized coaching, advice on shoes & accessories, strategy, diet and a tiral run on the course itself for even more confidence!

Red Nose Run 15K, 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
Lace up your big old floppy clown....oh, running shoes, put on your red nose, and meet us at Colonial Brookwood Village for the Second Annual Red Nose Run. Kids will enjoy the One Mile Fun Run with real Ringling Bros. clowns and Ronald McDonald on hand, while others can run or walk the 5K or 15K courses.
Support the Ronald McDonald House while you tune up for the Mercedes Weekend! All proceeds from the event (after expenses) will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. This race has a fantastic goodie bag: $10 coupon for Ringling Bros Circus tickets, $10 gift certificate to the Trak Shak, Clown nose, Race T-Shirt and more.
